Rob Greenfield, President & Founder of This Should Help, had a dear friend and colleague that passed away suddenly, and was inspired to create This Should Help as a service to help others.
Our Story
Major Edwin “E-Rod” Rodriguez was
only 44 years old when he passed away unexpectedly and left his
wife and 2 children wondering what to do next. Not only did
this young family have to deal with the shock and emotion of his
passing but there was a great deal of uncertainty as to where
important documents were located or what needed to be dealt with. The fact is, most of us
don’t want to deal with end of life issues, which in turn will
put a terrible burden on our loved ones during a very emotional
time.

This Should Help wants to give back. This Should Help is going to establish the “Major Edwin “E-Rod” Rodriguez” scholarship fund in which 2 high school seniors will be selected every year who had a family member fall in the line of duty & wants to pursue a career in the field of criminal justice / law enforcement to each receive a $2,500.00 scholarship to apply towards college. We are also going to establish a college fund for the 2 young children Major Rodriguez left behind by taking 2% of each sale for 1 year & putting it towards the education of his children. Last but certainly not least, every month we will choose a different charity that is near and dear to us and donate 10% of all sales to the selected charity that month. This month’s charity is:
