Rest in Peace

In Loving Memory...

Rob Greenfield, President & Founder of This Should Help, had a dear friend and colleague that passed away suddenly. What happened next inspired him to create a service that would spare other families the same struggle.

Major Edwin “E-Rod” Rodriguez was only 44 years old when he passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his wife and two children. Not only did this young family have to deal with the shock and emotion of his passing, but there was tremendous uncertainty about where important documents were located and what needed to be handled.

The fact is, most of us don’t want to deal with end-of-life issues. But avoiding this puts a terrible burden on our loved ones during the most emotional time of their lives.

How This Should Help Gives Back

This Should Help is committed to honoring Major Rodriguez’s legacy of service by giving back to those who serve and protect.

The Major Edwin “E-Rod” Rodriguez Scholarship Fund
Every year, we award two $2,500 scholarships to high school seniors who lost a family member in the line of duty and want to pursue careers in criminal justice or law enforcement.

Supporting E-Rod’s Children
We’re building a college fund for Major Rodriguez’s two children by contributing 2% of sales to their education.

Monthly Charitable Giving
Each month, we donate 10% of all sales to a charity close to our hearts. We’re honored to support organizations that make our communities stronger and safer.
